I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life gets kinda boring
Need something that I can confess
'Til all my sleeves are stained red

From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no
I've been on the brink, so

Tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insinceres
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

My God, amazing how we got this far
It's like we're chasing all those stars
Who's driving shiny big black cars
And everyday I see the news
All the problems that we could solve

And when a situation rises
Just write it into an album
Singing straight, too cold
I don't really like my flow, no, so

Tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insinceres
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

Oh, got no reason, got not shame
Got no family I can blame
Just don't let me disappear
I'm 'a tell you everything

So tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insinceres
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

So tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insinceres
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
All my secrets away, all my secrets away

"In one sense, prayer is like sharing the gospel with people. We do not know who will respond to the message of the gospel until we share it. In the same way, we will never see the results of answered prayer unless we pray."

I'm lost.
Bring me back, Father.
Bring me back, please.

Three.

Sometimes you'll get tired on the way. Everyone does. But I want you to know that I'm always here. No matter what happens.

Deuteronomy 1:31:
'and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.'

Ecclesiastes 3:11:
He has made everything beautiful in its time,
Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that
no one can find out the work that God does from
beginning to end.

In my opinion, one of the saddest song ever.

What Jared said was so true.
Unwavering faith and trust.
That's all it ever was about.

One.

Do you remember...

...the first time you spoke in tongues?

I still remember mine vividly, in every detail.
It was a sunday service, a month after I had first experienced God for the first time. Even before that, I had asked my brother that language which they had spoken in. He had said it was a holy language that enabled us to talk to God. During that period of time, I kept asking Him for it. I hungered for it. I wanted to talk to You.
It was during the worship. Everyone was standing and praying in tongues. I just stood there, in your presence, all the while continually asking You for it. Your presence was so thick and tangible, I was weeping before You. Then it happened. Something. Like an unseen hand slapping so gently on my throat. Like an invisible gust of wind blowing on my throat. I do not know how to explain this part. I choked and did not choked. I tried to cough, to say something, but in its place, I started to utter words I didn't know. Words were flowing freely. I was speaking in tongues for the first time. Astonished, amazed, surprised, awed was I. It was later on that I learned the Holy Spirit had bestowed upon me one of His gifts.

At that time, I thought talking in tongues sounded divine and heavenly.
It was a sweet heavenly melody. I thought it was the most beautiful language of all.

I still do.

Sunshine after the storm.

Lamentations 3:
22: Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23: They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24: "The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I hope in Him!"

Thank God it ended yesterday. Since officially rising up for Him. That dryness, that emptiness I felt, it finally ended. I can weep in His presence once again. I'm broken before Him once again. I really did miss that feeling. I wanted it back so much. I want You so much. It's Your strength which keeps me going.

Like how that song went. I had to admit before You I lost my fire. I lost my faith on the way here. My prayers felt empty. The songs I sang, they felt tired to me. All I had to do was admit the initial passion was gone. But I kept searching. Non-stop. I wanted it back. I missed it. I was searching for something again. For Your face again. I wanted You to make my cold heart start to move again. I kept asking and asking. I kept finding. I kept seeking. Look for You and I would find, You said. I really did find You after this time of wilderness. The blessings and breakthroughs really did lay just ahead. I always knew I would get over this. For I really did know I was much stronger than this. Not because I was strong, but because You always lend Your humble servant Your strength. I am strong because You are. When everything around me fails, rediscovering You makes everything alright again. It's all about You. Nothing else. You and no one else.

I want my soul to burn when I hear Your name.

Colossians 2:3:
in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Not wait for His blessings to be bestowed upon me. He is ALWAYS ready. He is just waiting for me to be ready.

Love people for who they are. Not for who they are not.

This never fails to make me cry. So choked with emotions everytime I watch it. Always the gentle reminder: always work on your dreams. One day, you'll definitely accomplish it. Never take the people around you for granted. Always treasure your loved ones, especially those who treasures you as much, and stuck by when you made mistakes and acted like a complete idiot. Always do this. Before it's too late. Before the regrets.

Your blood redeems my imperfections.
