"To dream anything that you want to dream, that's the beauty of the human mind.
To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will.
To trust yourself to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed."
-Bernard Edmonds

And it's all possible with God.

Luke 22:
31: And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

32: "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."

Finally it's time.
Please forget what I said.
I'll find my way.

How often, people blame the whole world except themselves when things go wrong.

"...the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with the person."

Having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. - Dinah Craik

For anything that you do, do it for the glory of God.

For anything that does not glorify Him is sin.

John 20:
23: "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them;
if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

When I'm in the depths of the lowest valley, it's the depths of Your love that's letting me walk on.

Please don't forget me, I'm going away
I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't need to know
All about me, I just need to feel safe
Got a thousand sweaters and shoes and paintings to hide
Skeletons in my bed
Don't ask where I'm going

I'm going away
I'm going my way
Finally it's my time
To be lonely, and lost, unloveed and I can't wait
Don't forget what I said
Don't forget my letter
every night I pray for you
I don't got no religion
Isn't that something
I'll miss those days,

I saved that bottle, it's now ten years aged
I've got some baubles I could sell for money
And a pair of fresh shaved legs
Won't you baby come with me, I've got extra space
In my car, in my heart, in my mind
Look there's the passenger seat by the postcards you gave (Don't know where I'm going)

I'm going away
I'm going my way
Finally it's my time
To be lonely, and lost, unloved and I can't wait
Don't forget what I said
Don't forget my letter
Every night I pray you
I don't got no religion
Isn't that something
I'll miss those days

But he said, "Slow down, slow down
Think it over, we've all got wretched closets
Silly girl, pride kills more than aids
Lately." I said, "Come on
I've thought it over,
I Don't wanna die here,
I have no desire to get married."

I can't race the others anymore;
No, I must learn to race myself.

I'm going away
I'm going my way
Finally it's my time
To be lonely, and lost, unloved and I can't wait
Please forget what I said (I'll find my way)
Please forget my letter
Every night I pray for you
I don't got a religion
Isn't that something
I'll miss those days

I, I'm not going halfway (I'll find my way)
I, I
Every night I pray for you
Don't believe in heaven
Or that it could be a happy place
I, I'm going away

2 Timothy 2:
11: This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.

12: If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.

13: If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.

Indeed, God is faithful when I'm faithless.
He's always faithful.

What a beautiful song. And the lyrics.
Just what I needed.
Thank You, Lord.

I just had to admit.
I'm nothing without You.
Brokenness.
I'm finding it back.
More steps to take.

You are not a God created by human hands

You are not a God dependent on any mortal man

You are not a God in need of anything we can give

By Your plan, that’s just the way it is

You are God alone

From before time began You were on Your throne

You are God alone

And right now In the good times and bad

You were on the throne

You are God alone

You’re the only God

Whose power none can contend

You’re the only God

Whose name and praise will never end

You’re the only God

Who’s worthy of everything we can give

You are God

And that’s just the way it is

Unchangeable

Unshakable

Unstoppable

That’s what You are

The 100th day.

Let go of most of the hurts yesterday.
I continue to do so.

A new phase begins!
So excited!

I shall overcome.
No. I WILL overcome.
With the help of my God.
By the blood of the lamb.

I don't get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And where was I before the day
That I first saw your lovely face?
Now I see it everyday
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

What if I'd been born fifty years before you
In a house on a street where you lived?
Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike
Would I know?

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

"He who has once got fairly into the Scriptures can never leave them. The book holds you as a magnet holds a needle, or as a flower holds a bee. If you want great thoughts, read your Bible. If you want something simple, read your Bible. The book talks to us in our own mother tongue. Why should I have to ask another what my Father says?" -C. H. Spurgeon

* I seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own in regard to a given matter. Nine-tenths of the trouble with people generally is just here. Nine-tenths of the difficulties are over come when our hearts are ready to do the Lord's will, whatever it may be. When one is truly in this state, it is usually but a little way to the knowledge of what His will is.
* Having done this, I do not leave the result to feeling or simple impression. If so, I make myself liable to great delusions.
* I seek the Will of the Spirit of God through, or in connection with, the Word of God. The Spirit and the Word must be combined. If I look to the Spirit alone without the Word, I lay myself open to great delusions also. If the Holy Ghost guides us at all, He will do it according to the Scriptures and never contrary to them.
* Next I take into account providential circumstances. These often plainly indicate God's Will in connection with His Word and Spirit.
* I ask God in prayer to reveal His Will to me aright.
* Thus, through prayer to God, the study of the Word, and reflection, I come to a deliberate judgment according to the best of my ability and knowledge, and if my mind is thus at peace, and continues so after two or three more petitions, I proceed accordingly. In trivial matters, and in transactions involving most important issues, I have found this method always effective.

Sometimes our best decisions are the ones that don't make any sense at all.

Because that's the thing about stupid decisions:

we all make them.

But time is funny.
And sometimes a little magic..
It can take a stupid decision and turn it into something else entirely.

Love.

1 John 4:18:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts
out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who
fears has not been made perfect in love.

To love.
The greatest commandment we were called to do, unto God, unto our brothers and sisters, unto people.
So many kinds of love.
Only one's really perfect.
God's agape love.

Recently, these past few weeks, I've been trying hard to learn how to love all over again.
Trying to love like You have loved me.
Until I learn to love like it says in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, I'll never be made perfect in love.

Romeo & Juliet?

Posted on 10/02/2010 09:35:00 AM by kennn

These two skeletons from the Neolithic period have been discovered by archaeologists near Mantua in Italy and are beleived to be young lovers due to the presence of all the teeth. The Location of their eternal embrace was just 25 miles south of Verona, the city where Shakespeare’s love story Romeo and Juliet was set.

Wow.

Love does not have to be perfect. It just has to be true.

Phew!

Just finished helping out at Jw church for the children's day event! Kids are just so adorableeee!! Hahaha! Service was awesome too! His presence was so strong even in the overflow room!

Finished sending the CG contact card for printing too. Hahah like finally after months of changes. Thought could collect today but have to wait till monday for collection. ): well, let's not be impatient for anything. Hahaha.

Tired. Heading home for a quick rest then it's CG later. Awesome!

Children have this innocence that adults gradually misplace on the way to growing up. Its this innocence that we need to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, this innocence that God so loves, this innocence that makes them the greatest in His kingdom. Let's bring our innocence over wherever we might go.

I am missing you less and less each day.
Waiting for the day when I don't think of you once at all.
Let's go.
Bring my smile back.

Happy children's day!
