Job 23:
10: But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
11: My foot has held fast to His steps;
I have kept His way and not turned aside.
First real experience of spiritual dryness last week.
Albeit a short one.
There's more to spiritual emptiness than just that.
It's His test and refining of our faith.
To perfect my faith.
To improve my character.
To strengthen my walk.
To be prepared for more trials.
Feeling His presence stronger than ever.
His love raining down on me.
Like a crushing tidal wave.
If breakthroughs are at the end of a dryness,
like a rainbow at the end of a thunderstorm,
let me experience more, O Father.
